It's only a 7 minute walk or 2 minute car ride to the beautiful beach outside of the Sheraton and Kiahuna Plantation where you can surf, boogie board, body surf or work on your Hawaiian tan. Surfing lessons are provided here 2 times a day. It's a short 3 minute drive to Poipu Beach Park where there is a children's playground, sheltered lagoon for little ones, a snorkeling area and a wonderful picnic area with picnic tables. Also in this location is Brenneke's Restaurant and Deli where you can get a great lunch or dinner or go next door to the Nukumoi Surf Shop for board rentals and beach attire.

Waikomo Stream Villas are a 2 minute drive right down the street from the Poipu Shopping Village where there are numerous restaurants and shops to meet everyone's needs. The location is excellent! You are only a 5 minute drive away from Old Koloa Town where there is the Big Save Grocery Store, as well as numerous restaurants, banks, the post office, movie rentals, churches, an island activity reservations center and Lappert's Ice Cream and Coffee store for those after dinner desserts.
